Concessionary passes are available for Senior Citizens and Blind or otherwise disabled persons.
The following table gives information on the cards available, their usage, and who to contact for further information or application.

 

Concessionary passes (allowing free bus, rail and Metro travel) are available for men aged over 65 and women over 60 who are permanently resident in the West Midlands county. Application forms and passes are available from Neighbourhood Offices in Coventry.
 
Each Metropolitan authority within the West Midlands operates a concessionary passes scheme for blind or otherwise disabled people. Coventry has its own system. If you think that you may qualify for a concessionary pass, please contact your local Social Services Department.

From Monday 11th December 2000, Centro Senior Citizen Pass holders are also entitled to free travel during the evening peak (3:30-6:00pm) and after 11:30pm until the end of normal daytime service. The passes will now be valid for free travel at the following times:

Monday to Friday 09:30 until end of normal service Weekends & All day, from start Bank Holidays to end of normal service

 
Please note: Journeys on certain special services such as Night buses and excursions are excluded. You must have a valid ticket, travel card or pass when boarding or travelling on Travel Coventry buses.Tickets must be obtained from the driver of the bus. Passengers not holding a valid ticket will be liable to pay a penalty fare of £10
